Ten SNHS students from Yr7 and 8 attended the Diana Award anti-bullying training at QE2 High School along with students from all the Island schools. The aim of the day was to train students as anti-bullying ambassadors. The morning focus was cyber-bullying and the way schools and individuals can aim to run an effective anti-bullying campaign. The ambassadors considered the opportunities their roles would provide and the positive way they could empower others to tackle bullying. The ambassadors have scheduled their first meeting to progress their ideas and look forward to witnessing the impact they create.

The Diana Award is a charity legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better. Through training and ongoing support the programme provides inspiration, practical ideas and top tips to prevent bullying and make sure everyone feels safe and happy in their school.
