The Upper School Unit have created a crisp recycling box which has been in the canteen for the last few weeks. The students have emptied and counted out the packets each day and have now reached 400. Sandy Moore, from the Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society, visited school this afternoon to collect the packets and show the students “Crispin” a baby hedgehog. She explained about the dangers of crisp packets on the hedgehog population and the impact they can have on wildlife.

Many thanks to Sandy for her visit, which helped the students to become more environmentally aware.
