Earlier this week, some of our Sixth Form students attended Junior Tynwald. They had a tour of the legislative buildings, met with members of Tynwald, were able to pose questions to Ministers and participate in two debates. Sadie Gilbert and Charley Spence also participated in the press booth, Sadie for Manx Radio and Charley for Isle of Man newspapers. Our students gained an insight into the working of Tynwald and demonstrated a range of skills, as well as meeting students from all of the Island's secondary schools.
It was a great opportunity for our students to learn more about local politics.
