Yesterday was the start of a series of workshops on the workings of the Isle of Man Government for Sixth Form students run by Tynwald intern, Peter Smith. In this week's sessions students learnt how a bill becomes law; the various steps along the way, the roles of the House of Keys, Council of Ministers and Legislative Council in this process, as well as how this compares to the UK and USA.
