Manx educational charity Junior Achievement has developed an exciting new initiative for the summer holidays. Young people aged 11 – 16 are being invited to take part in a business challenge with the chance of winning a prize.

The charity will be running a series of workshops which have sponsored by Zurich International. Students can register free of charge to take part in a one day event.

Working in groups, young people will be given a real business problem to try and solve. At the end of the challenge each group will present their solution to a group of judges with a prize being awarded for the best idea. Each workshop will have a different challenge and will be age specific.

The aim is to help bring young people together in a fun, interactive and safe environment, with the chance to meet new people, build their confidence and develop valuable skills including communication, teamwork, time management and problem solving.

Workshops are free of charge and will take place between 3rd to 12th August at the Villa Marina.

Places are limited and parents are being encouraged to register their children as soon as possible.
