It was a pleasure to welcome the Isle Listen Schools Team to St. Ninian’s to meet our Year 7 cohort over the past week. Ste, Carly and Jamie led Tutorial sessions with each Tutor Group based on ‘Dealing with Change’ with a focus on any transition worries or concerns, as well as things the students are looking forward to this year.
The sessions were well received and the participation in discussing mental health and tips on how to support each other was really positive.
Christian, who is our link well-being practitioner, was able to introduce himself to the students and will be at Lower School on Tuesday and Thursday for one2one listening sessions. Students may be referred by school staff, following consent, and students can also complete a self-referral form using this link.
