We were delighted to learn that one of our school neighbours, 10 year old Sophia, recently gave up her own time at the weekend to help clear the Lower School site of litter. Sophia is passionate about the amount of plastic waste that can be found in our environment and wanted to do something to help out. She managed to fill 3 bin bags and counted over 150 plastic bottles.
We are very grateful to Sophia and to her Dad for also raising some concerns about the number of bins available in the outside areas and we have promised to look into this and try and find a solution.
All of us at Lower School would like to say a big thank you to Sophia and we hope that our students think carefully before dropping litter around the site. If we all do our little bit, we can help to improve the school environment
