The St. Ninian’s Girls’ Football team played brilliantly throughout the tournament, finishing as champions! They kicked things off with a 1-0 win over KWC, followed by another 1-0 victory against QEII, with Evie and Izzy scoring the winning goals. The girls continued their strong run with a 1-0 win over CRHS (Lilly scoring) and a 1-1 draw with BHS, where Sophie got the equalizer. Their final match ended in a 0-0 draw with RGS, thanks to some solid defending from Georgie and Millie and excellent goalkeeping from Maisie who made some great clearing kicks.
Lily and Daisy were key in midfield, keeping things moving with her passing and control, while Macie and Roxy put in a shift on the wings, delivering dangerous crosses and never giving up on the ball. The whole team’s teamwork and determination were top-notch, and they fully deserved the victory. The girls should be so proud of their hard work and the trophy they brought home! Come on the Saints!
