Over the past few weeks, Mrs Parr has commenced this year’s Year 6 Transition programme. During her visits, she spent the morning engaging with students, providing them with the opportunity to ask questions about high school and delivering a presentation designed to ease any concerns they may have.
Students also contributed to this year’s Transition Display, which will be completed in time for the Year 6 pupils to view their work during our upcoming Open Evening. The final activity involved introducing a cross-curricular project that will enable the two schools to collaborate and learn together.
Mrs Parr was thoroughly impressed by the thoughtful and insightful questions posed by students at both schools and looks forward to continuing to work closely with them, and their teachers, throughout the coming academic year.
