Year 9 Rugby v BHS (Home) Friday 24^th October

We had a cracking Year 9 Rugby Douglas Derby before half-term, in a tightly contested affair St. Ninian's came from behind to edge a thrilling game 19-12. Jacob Dawkins scored a hat-trick of tries for the Saints with James Longden kicking two important conversions to maintain the 7 point lead in the final 5 minutes. Every Saints player made monumental efforts throughout the game in defence to halt dangerous Ballakermeen attacks. Phase after phase Saints players continued to make necessary tackles and force the opposition into errors, which paid off. Huge fixtures coming up with improvements to be made when in possession of the ball. Fantastic fixture due to both teams being a credit to their respective schools!
