The Intermediates Basketball team faced QEII in their opening game of the season. The Saints took the lead early on in the first quarter through Eli Birchenough and never looked back. More baskets followed as QEII struggled to deal with the Saints' fast breaks up the court and dominance at both boards to win rebounds. This same pattern of play continued throughout the match and allowed the team to experiment different types of presses in defence. All players involved stepped up to the occasion and made great decisions when on the ball. Final score SNHS 51 QEII 8. Lots to work on but a very promising start. Well done boys! Special mention to Charley, Angus, Lucian and Billy for overseeing the table!
