A former-racer, travelling marshal and SNHS teacher, Mr Hunter spoke to the students about his racing background and role as travelling marshal, before welcoming back and introducing two former SNHS students, sidecar rider Mike Jackson and mechanic Chris Cojeen. Mike is riding sidecar outfit #15 with his passenger Sarah Stokoe in this year's TT and spoke about his racing and how best to tackle Bray Hill… flat out!
The students showed great interest and enthusiasm throughout, especially when they got up close to the machinery and met Mike who kindly autographed pictures for them.
As an extra treat, Year 7 have been set a TT quiz in their Google Classroom with prizes available including copies of the TT video game and merchandise.
Huge thanks to Mike, Chris and Mr Hunter for building excitement on the eve of the Isle of Man TT Festival.
