Congratulations to Chloe Crellin who was recently awarded her Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award, having previously completed her Bronze and Silver.
In order to achieve this, Chloe completed her physical section swimming with the IOM Swimming Team and engaged in open water swimming. Chloe has been a swimming coach at Douglas Swimming Club since the age of 13, also gaining her a Level 1 swim teachers certification which contributed to the volunteering aspect of the award.
In July 2018 Chloe ventured off island to the Lake District completing eight hours of daily trekking and wild camping through the mountains for five gruelling days with three other participants.
The final section included a residential, where Chloe attended BIOGRAD, a clinical skills five day course in Liverpool.
Well done Chloe, what a fantastic achievement.
