This project comprises of 3 assessed tasks; research, a written essay and a piece of display work.



Students receive a level at the end of the project: Outstanding, Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Needs more work.



Rota Activity A Enterprise Project

Enterprise Project Exhibition with written team report

Students will be asked questions about their project/ideas by visiting business people at an exhibition.
Rota Activity B BBC School Report Project

  • Understanding of how to use iMovie

BBC School Report News Day Presentation

Students will be asked to present their news report on a topic of their choice to the rest of the class.
Rota Activity C Thinking Skills Topic

  • Understanding of Thinking skills, e.g.
    • mindmapping and the benefits if using this as an aid for revision, tests and exams,
    • P4C enquiries using the 4C's (Collaborative, Caring, Creative and Critical Thinking)

Thinking Skills Board Game

Students will work in small teams to create a board game that develops one of the 4C's. They will have the chance to play each other's games and take part in peer assessment
