‘From Antigone to Rosa Parks’ Students will learn about Classical Greek theatre in order to explore the themes of law and civil disobedience. |
The presentation of a piece of devised theatre that adheres
to the structure of Greek tragedy. |
| SPRING |
Using a Stimulus Students will learn and explore how to create a piece of theatre from a given stimulus. |
Students will be assessed on the quality of their research,
ideas and performance whilst creating a piece of devised
theatre using a poem as a stimulus. |
| SUMMER |
Theatre-in-Education Students will learn and experiment with the techniques used in theatre-in-education whilst considering the needs of an age specific audience. |
Students will be assessed on the quality of their group
work, research and final performance. |
