PROGRAMME OF STUDY KEY ASSESSMENT TASKS
AUTUMN

In PE, students will cover a range of introductory and team building activities.

They will go on to complete units in Health Related Fitness, Basketball and Hockey.


In Games, students will learn about the principles of team play. The boys will cover Rugby and the girls will cover Hockey and Football.

All students will have the opportunity to complete the Cross-country unit of work.

SPRING

In PE, students will cover a range of team and individual activities, such as: Badminton, Handball, Gymnastics and Basketball.



In Games, students will learn about the principles of team play. The boys will cover Football and the girls will cover Netball.

SUMMER

In PE, students will cover a range of team and individual activities, such as: Rounders, Cricket, Tennis and Softball.


In Games, students will learn about the principles of athletic movement and will be assessed in Athletics.
